Professional Sections are the basic units of activity of the Academy. They are created mostly based on specific forensic disciplines and with the aim of the development of a particular forensic area. However, they may arise on the basis of another, e.g. interdisciplinary interest.

Section may be establish by least 3 members or candidates for membership of the Academy. Request for creation of a section shall be sent to the Executive Committee to consider the purpose, content and methods of work, organization and management of a section.

The section is not a self-financing entity, the activities of the section are covered by shares from the management of the Academy.

Establishment of a Section is confirmed by the General Assembly, together with a proposal of its organization, management and business plans. At the same time are set redistributive rules of the Academy so that the activities of all sections could be adequately covered. Implementation of the action plan of the section is verified by the Executive Committee at least once a year and once a year the General Assembly also establishes the principles of financing activities of the sections.
