The first meeting of the General Assembly of the Academy of Forensic Sciences held on 14th September 2010

The main agenda of the General Assembly was the election of key governing bodies of the Academy and preparation
plan of the first activities to be implemented in this phase. The President of the Academy of Forensic Sciences and members of the Executive Committee were elected. Given the current needs and possibilities, the election of the Academic Board and the Supervisory Board was postponed.

In this period, the General Assembly discussed the basic framework for membership
conditions of the Academy and ordered the Executive Committee to develop this as internal control standards, and submit it to the next General Assembly meeting for approval. In a similar way, the Executive Committee imposed elaborate rules for establishment and operation of professional sections, the principles of internal communications, principles of creation, form and purpose of the website of the Academy and other support activities.

The General Assembly decided that the startup period will require the Executive Committee convened its meetings more frequently than is specified in the statutes, depending on current needs, to start regular operations carried out in the shortest possible time.
